In this Sustainable Food Choices MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), interested consumers and students are encouraged to “learn how your food choices can make a world of difference – not only for you and your family, but also for the environment, the local economy and the society at large.”
The course has a focus on a European audience, though may have some relevance to other comparable regions. This resource may be useful to clients who want to learn the basics of making more sustainable food choices in Europe, or for introductory concepts for undergraduate students in nutrition and dietetics.
Produced by a team of mainly academics, this course is based on EU-focused evidence. It is part of the Stength2Food project, which has been funded by the EU. There is no indication about whether the course will be updated periodically.
